Dayton Youth Football League (DYFL) was created in 2000 for the children of the community ages 4-12 to play under a unified and supervised format of football and cheer.
The intent of this league is to provide a structured environment to expose all players to all aspects of the game.
Our organization is committed to Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Teamwork, Sportsmanship, Self- Discipline, Respect, Leadership, Trust and Commitment in our young participants. We believe these values and virtues are important to their growth and also to them becoming active members of our community and society.
The league is not intended to be a "Win at all cost" but more as a developmental source for the players and cheerleaders, while giving them the competitive game situations to help improve their skill sets.
Our core philosophy is to teach the basic fundamentals needed to play the game of football and cheerleading, but also to promote sportsmanship. We expect all parents and coaches to provide a good example of sportsmanship to all players.
We will instill and provide an experience that encourages and show all players the challenges of competition. The joy of victory, the reality of defeat, and the importance of commitment and the spirit of your community.
We are affiliated with the East Texas Youth Football Alliance. Please contact us for more information.
